Thanks, le nubian. And that made me want to try VM again (I bailed out in the first season as I just forgot to keep watching)
Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind.
[NAFDA] Spoiler Policy: Seasons 1-3 and the movie are fair game. Spoiler font two weeks for new content presented all at once (e.g. Season 4 on Hulu is fair game as of Aug. 9, 2019). New content presented as weekly episodes may be discussed with no restrictions as it is released.
What? Kevin, don't make me hit you. Get to watching.
It's okay, you can hit me. Truth be told, I sometimes wait for shows I think I might like to get canceled before watching them, as I know I can pace myself through it and know where the end is going to be. Plus, too many shows at once leads to erratic(er) Kevin.
Re: The article
"Veronica lacked the budget, and the wild visual and narrative pyrotechnics, that make the likes of Lost and Battlestar Galactica so buzzworthy."
I know VM was made pretty cheaply, but didn't it still have about twice the budget of BSG? BSG airs on the Sci-Fi channel, after all.
BSG has a pretty generous budget. It is shared by Sky One (someone correct me if I am wrong). I'm sure it is at least double that of VM.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure BSG is now about the level of Firefly's budget on FOX. It's not cheap. Hence all the speculation season 4 will be the last. All credit to Sci-Fi for keeping that on the air.
Rewatched "Welcome Wagon" -- I wish that they could have given us one more scene of Back Up. I like Back Up.
News found at TWOP:
Ausiello reported that the FBI trailer is going to be on the Season 3 DVD's, so at least we'll get to see what that might have been like.
I suppose I should have doublechecked over at TV Guide.
Well played, writers, well played.
