That's not Tommy Gavin's Dad, it's Jack McGee, who plays his boss, Chief Jerry Reilly. He also appeared on Buffy as the archaeologist in "Becoming, Part 1."

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies
So I watched the promo, and I can't take it any more: OH MY GOD KRISTEN BELL'S OUTFIT IN THE WALK TOWARD THE CAMERA. The stupid shorts! WITH a shirt that doesn't help!
