I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I will never understand why famous people dress themselves so badly. Well, no, I understand some of it--even bad attention is better than no attention at all, I suppose--but still, when I am thinking "I would have known better than to leave the house looking like that" it's a bad sign.
