These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I've posted some nice things about VM folk because I don't post non-nice things, generally.

What is even happening?

Well, and because they really gave you an awfully lot of nice things to say. I officially love Francis Capra.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I love it when likeable people work for a show I like.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

The end of the the Cupid ep showed Veronica stumbling across Parker and Logan, didn't it? She looked surprised and then sat somewhere else or something. Not that there won't probably be fallout, but I don't think she was surprised by Wallace's comments.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I think there was a Fury association in there as well, although heaven knows how or why.

Because they got the mustard out?

What is even happening?

Oh yes, I just don't know how it convinced me to choose as I did in P-C's poll.

What do you all think will change about the show, now that Keith is Sheriff? He mentioned an election. Do you think he'll run? Win? If he wins, do you think we'll see a lot of strin on the daddy-daughter ties?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think he'll run and win. Then he and Veronica will be at odds because he not only has to solve a case, but also follow the law, whereas she can use whatever sneaky tricks she wants to pull. I think as a private citizen, doing certain things during the course of an investigation may be ethically sticky, it's not the same as having the power of the state behind you and doing them.

Anyway, I think Keith will come to the conclusion that maybe it is better to work a little outside the law.

I think I came to all this because of Landry's dig at V "slumming it" as a PI.

What is even happening?

That line did seem to have some intentionality to it, above and beyond baiting Keith and making his (Landry's) point about V.

As much as I love Veronica's relationship with her father, I do think it needs some shaking up. There'll be a certain (non-cloying) coming-of-age quality to them having to deal with their issues. Veronica's recklessness has often endangered her and angered Keith. Now, to have her working outside the law - when He is The Law, will be pretty yummy.

I hope we get Sheriff Mars.

I agree, and I also wonder if the constraints of being a civil employee will frustrate him.

What is even happening?

I can't make up my mind on that. I mean, I hope they do, but it's not like he's not used to the job. And his most involved PI cases - he always tried to involve the law.
