I'm very glad Veronica's over her jealous streak (and go Parker, and Logan, for not wanting to hurt Veronica) but her change of heart was rather sudden.
Oh, I don't think that was a truthful answer. I think Veronica gave the nice answer, and the answer that allowed her to save face. I mean, how is she supposed to say, "Yeah, it bothers me a lot," and retain any dignity. She had a little warning it was coming from Wallace, and from Parker's failed attempt to speak with her, and so she faked up some grace.
I like how the mystery played out, but I felt like the last few minutes of the episode fell flat. Kristen was spectacular though, when Veronica found the bug in her sidekick -- just spectacular. I felt Veronica's stomach drop.
I thought last night's episode was interesting and well structured, but the mystery itself was eh. I suspected Tim even before I knew what the second mystery was going to be; he was just too obviously creepy.
The Veronica and Tim show was kind of amusing. Too bad he was evil.
This. I was hoping, much like Weevil and Mars - they fight crime, that it would continue a little longer.
I'm curious what Weevil thinks about Keith being sheriff now. Also, I kept waiting for Keith to give Veronica and Tim a smackdown, as I doubt much of their evidence would hold up in a court case. I still hope Veronica playing fast & loose in the sheriff's office is going to bite her.
You know that news cast that played during Keith and Veronica's final scene, when they were eating? Did anyone else expect that it would be Harmony Chase's husband? I think I expected it to be something, and then it seemingly wasn't, which may have been why the end of the episode felt a little flat to me.
Harmony Chase, I had completely forgotten about her.
Well, maybe it would have been something but they aren't doing any more arcs this year.
Harmony Chase, I had completely forgotten about her.
I thought that she was going to be the woman in the convenience store at first.
I thought the woman at the convenience store was going to turn out to be Lianne Mars -- something about her voice reminded me a lot of Lianne.

I had the same thought.
I'm dissatisfied with how things turned out, mostly with Keith accusing the wrong people again, which got Mindy killed as a result. The other thing that bothers me is that Tim would kill Ehrlich just to get back at Landry. Someone asked above if Tim had a reason for hating the Dean, and I couldn't remember one.

sj, I did, too.

Mindy and Landry could have been forth coming from the beginning, but they weren't, which is why they ended up under suspicion. Mindy engineered her own demise in so many ways, starting with her retention of Keith as investigator (yet failing to come clean with him, and give him the info he needed to crack the case). I thought it was perfect that she died, too.
DX, by 'Erlich' do you mean O'Dell?
