I agree with you, tiggy. I put on a happier face, probably, but I agree with you.
About Logan and Veronica/Keith, I mean. Not general meh. Though I was glad to see some of the old Logan back last night. "Well, as long as we're paying her..."

I really enjoyed this episode. The Veronica/Logan banter in the beginning seemed forced, but otherwise I liked their scenes more than I have in a long time. Other than the judge blackmailing thing, which seemed much more stupid than I expect Veronica to be (come on, girl, send someone else to collect the money - didn't you see Get Shorty? - and why are you trusting that the info fed to you by the chick who just ripped off your client to be accurate, anyway?), I enjoyed the Wendy storyline. I hope there is some payoff to the picture of Max's friends in Mac and Parker's room - I can't figure out when that could have happened or why. I just assumed Madison lied, that she saw a chance to sow some discord and tossed it out there. She didn't seem to flirt with Logan at all when she showed up at the hotel (which is what I expected after V opened the door).
I'm only vaguely interested in the Dean O'Dell mystery so far. I don't have any idea who killed him but I'm not terribly curious about who did. I think it's because none of the clues have pointed anywhere unexpected, yet.
JD > Michael Scott?
JD < Michael Scott?
JD = Michael Scott?
as i said in lj land, does he have Tom Cruise's manager as well as his religious beliefs? oy. enough with the random ass KB gushing. it's creepyfying at this point.
ETA: HA!! i don't think my tag has ever been more appropriate.

It's from the "Around the World" party or whatever it was called in the previous week's episode. Max mentions it was a really lame room that was supposed to be Canada.
tiggy, the video keeps resetting himself, just as he's giving the set-up for the second answer (talking about when they got picked up, for what he thinks was the second season -- they were in New York), etc.
What did he say that was Michael Scott-ish?
Mac and Parker's room was Canada.
Cindy, the question is "did anything funny happen on the set while filming ?" and he answers thusly:
"kristen bell is funny. uhhh...she does a lot of funny stuff. ummm...i don't know if anybody...er..how many people will kind of, or, people will get to know her. you know what i mean? cause it's, like, she does stuff that is actually unbelievable. like for the sense of humour that she brings on the show. i kind of just look and kind of admire because, uh, it's pretty unique and uhh she's just quite a beautiful individual, i think. i don't know how that's funny, but it's something i'd like to say."
the text doesn't even do it justice because his expressions just add to the uncomfortableness. the first part when he says "kristen bell is funny", there's this look on his face that just creeps me the fuck out. i don't know. i think we're all just a little bit tired of hearing how awesome KB is in his interviews.

The better one is at the end, when he's all, "I don't know how that's funny," because he has this look like, "Er, did I just say all that? Was that wrong? Oops."
He's totally the president of her fan club.
Just caught up on the last two episodes -- liked 'em both, but wasn't overwhelmed by either. I liked Wendy the Hooker With a Heart of Gold (and a good work ethic?) and was amused to note that she appeared to be trying to dress like Veronica in her attempted-non-hooker lifestyle.
I still keep thinking that Dick is going to turn out to be gay.
You know, before "Show Me The Monkey" I might have disagreed, but MAN was he gay in that episode. The scene where he's sitting around Logan's apartment in his dressing gown bathrobe and giving Logan love advice? I was totally blindsided by The Gay.

Awesome movie poster for Veronica Mars, done in old 1940's style detective noir: >[link]
