I had a weird thing pop into my head- in the trailer for next week, there's a snippet of Veronica's dialogue saying something about A PROSTITUTE... I was wondering if anyone else thought that the surfer girl was a prostitute and Dick hired her as part of the Grand Rich Boy's Day Out...

I think, canon-wise, we just know she was one of the women they met on the beach. We're trying to figure out if she was only a fangirl or (also) a hooker, because of the 'a hooker?!?' in the promo.
The promo made me think she was a hooker, at first, but now I don't know, because I'm not sure if they'd give that away.

Great, now I'm trying to parse the rest of VM into the MTM show (which totally doesn't work if Mac is MTM, but hey...)
Keith = Lou Grant
Wallace = Murray
Dick = Ted in a BIG way
Mac's roomate (who's name I'm memfaulting) = Phyllis Lindstrom
Lamb = Sue Ann Nivens
However, Logan and Piz don't really map to that template.
