Ah, how to put this? I was saying this to someone the other day. I love Logan, I love Keith, but I want one of the them to either (1) get killed or (2) go evil because of a gypsy curse. That would rule so hard I don't even know. Veronica needs that kind of motivation.
I also think it would be a waste to lose the long arc on this show. So few shows can carry it off; they really can here.
I don't particularly relish the prospect of a stand-alone season, but I also think we're freaking out both preemptively and unduly. Like I said, we reacted this way to the mini mysteries too, and the writers proved their mettle.
Who is "we"? I liked the mini-arc idea from the start. I thought last season got unnecessarily complex and confusing. But an all standalone season? Feh.

Heh, yeah, I do know that there were some people who were into it, but there was also much collective freakout reminiscent of what's happening now.
There are always going to be people resistant to change. However, I don't recall any collective freakout in this thread. Maybe I'm misremembering.
Oh, probably not. On TWoP, for sure.
Those coasters? Are there really some out there? Mr. Jane would like to get some for the bar. We've pretty much relied on throwing unattended ones away, putting them behind the bar (I myself make a sort of stacked sculpture on top with cigarettes, matches, napkins and lighters to cover the top), but those would be nice to have.
I and the female bar patrons thank you P-C!
Don't thank me, thank Ipstenu on TWoP!
I'll let you thank them for me (other internets scare me).
