"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm not convinced that the Dean ever left his office. He seemed to be waking up from a dream when whoever walked in. I am guessing that the sound of the eggs smashing matched gunshots in his dream, and he woke up then.

Really weird editing if they wanted us to figure it that way though - shouldn't the dream have come right before the eggs? Deliberate obfuscation, or clumsiness? YOU MAKE THE CALL!

ETA Any bets on Weevil getting blamed for the Dean's demise?

Art Crawl!!!

Probably longer ago than last year because Moe is an RA -- I mean, are there sophomore RAs?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I mean, are there sophomore RAs?

Yep. At least, there were at my university.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I was a RA as a sophomore, but I'm not sure what the rules are in VM world.

Because books.

I mean, are there sophomore RAs?

Well, Noel was one on Felicity. It's not out of the realm of possibility in Fictional!College.

The thing with the deam confused me, too, because the gun in the whatever act went off in the last, but not the way it was set up. Now I don't know if him taking the gun out of the drawer was part of the hotel dream, too, if it was in fact a dream.

Good to see Weevil, but it wasn't enough! I hope there's more next episode (or seven).

The more I think about it, the more I like the way one mystery led into the next. There are a lot of possible suspects for the dean's murder, and some of them could be connected to the Greek system chaos from the first arc.

Also forgot to mention how much I loved Logan's lines about being around if Veronica needed him, but how she never does. Heartbreaking. Logan = total woobie. Veronica's crying in the shower bit was very in character, too.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Logan breaks my heart. When I saw him with the bat and looking at the deputy's I knew what he was up to.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Veronica's crying in the shower bit was very in character, too.

Except that she basically blew him off at the end of last week's ep, so why was she crying?

Well, they say that breaking up is hard to do...

I think last week she may have been acting out of little residual pissiness about him hiring the bodyguard. Veronica definitely has a tendency to go incommunicado when she's hurt or angry -- look at her (in that same episode? the one before?) when she was angry with both Logan and Keith. She actually took herself out of Keith's presence by moving into the dorm, and hadn't been answering Logan's calls. For someone who relies so often on instant communication -- the cell phone, the text message -- when she's in trouble, and knows how to track anyone down when she wants to talk to them, it's interesting to me that one of her defenses is to shut herself away from people when she's upset, rather than lashing out.

In tonight's episode I think she realized that she really hurt Logan, and that their issues have as much to do with her as with him. I think she was genuinely taken by surprise that he broke up with her, because I think she really believes, most of the time, that she's in control. Either that or she wants to believe it.
