What is even happening?

You're welcome, Dawn.

It stinks to lose such a big market during sweeps, and no matter how many people actually realize it's on Saturday instead of Tuesday, fewer people in the right demo will have their asses in chairs on a Saturday night at nine o'clock.

What is even happening?

Okay, so there are two more episodes to this serial rape arc. Anyone else ready to spec before tonight's episode?

I think it's Moe. Rationale in white font, because I think it's pretty strong. It is not based on any kind of spoiler information, though. I'm unspoiled.

I think his alibi is shaky, because as people have pointed out, it stands on someone else confirming what time it was, during an episode in which messing with a clock played a big part. I think he was damaged by his previous participation in the prison experiment. If there is a group of rapists (which was first floated as a possibility last season, when Veronica thought the rape was part of the frat's points-game), I think it's possible that Horseshack (F&G boy) and Rafe (Boy Meets World Boy) are part of it.

And to repeat myself, I doubt the rapist drugged and shaved Veronica. Rationale also in white font.

Why drug her up in such a public place, where you might not get access to her? Why start to shave her first? I would think trophy-taking would happen after the crime, with serial criminals. I think the drugging and headshaving was done (organized) by Nish and/or some of the other anti-frat women.

Cindy, I agree with you on all points. Though I admit that I forgot the episode was on tonight. (What? I'm rather drugged up right now, and I didn't get enough sleep last night, so all I can focus on is making it through 3 hours and 45 more minutes of work so that I can go home to the sweet, sweet embrace of my bed.)

I hear ya, baby. Are you drugged for pain or for illness?

I am not drugged, but I suspect someone could make a case for doing so, as I freely invited three children over to my house this afternoon, in addition to the three who live here, when I should be baking, and of course, my dh decided to work from home today (which necessitates keeping quiet 6 children [2x age ten; 2x age seven, 2x age six]).

This post is brought to you by the Of-Course-I'm-On-Topic Chorale, singing that old favorite, Just Shoot Me.

Pain. Not bad, and with drugs it's almost non-existent. Druuuuuuugs.

Heh. I'm having a HUGE Lebowski flashback -- anyone else?

(Also? Shane Donovan!)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

That's Patty Freakin' Hearst!

That's just perfect.

Because books.

Wow. They were having some fun with the shoutouts in this episode. The Simpsons, Vacation, Patty Hearst. Heh. The Veronica and Keith Show was pretty damn cute tonight. (Almost -- *almost* -- too cute.)

I may be a schmoopy fool, but I am so very disappointed Veronica didn't pick up Logan's call at the end. Why is she pulling away from him? And what the hell is with the cheesy "Love [divided by] Piz" thing?

For one, Piz wasn't even in this episode (and Wallace was! yay!). Two, I'm really not getting that Veronica is interested in him one bit.

I didn't think I could possibly hate Dick more, but now I do.
