What is even happening?

Right, but there would be no reason to write and film the hair scene, then. It might ultimately be the case that she was drugged a different way, but both we and Veronica are being led to think that's how it happened.

The reason to write and film the scene that way, if the hair landed there by accident, would be to throw Veronica off the scent of whatever cafeteria worker spiked her drink (if, indeed, a cafeteria worker did).

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

To give us and Veronica different times at which the drink could have been drugged.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

would be to throw Veronica off the scent of whatever cafeterial worker spiked her drink (if, indeed, a cafeteria worker did).

I'm not disagreeing that it might have happened a different way, just that the scene was ultimately pointless.

Again, the whole thing is so unlikely-- it would have to either involve a conspiracy with a worker at the place she just happened to get her food at that day, or it would have to involve a fortuitous drink-spiking no one noticed-- that I think they're not going to dig the hole any deeper by explaining any more about how she got drugged.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

That said, remembering the hair-taker was wearing a glove (that could have been a food-service glove) is making me doubt that, more and more.

I thought the glove looked more like a cloth formal glove than a latex one. I'm pretty sure it had stitching on the back of the hand, something you never see on food service gloves.

if Mercer was on the air for all/most/some of the rapes, then who wasn't? Piz. That's who.

Well, yeah, because he was in high school in Oregon, when Mercer was on the air last semester. If it's him, they're gonna have some 'splainin' to do about how he managed to commute down to San Diego.

Anybody else think that (a) Logan still hasn't told Veronica the truth about Tiajuana and (b) was so evasive about said trip because he'd been in contact with Duncan?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ooooh. Hadn't thought about (b.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Duncan's in Australia.

Duncan's in Australia.

Ahh, I knew he was someplace (and someplace warm), but couldn't remember exactly where. Probably conflated that with him escaping via Mexico.

Of course, we only know that he was in Australia last year....

I liked the secret about the hotel fire in Mexico. It's hard to write that kind of thing. But I doubt Logan would make that up.
