I agree, Kalshane. I loved that it was a big elaborate test and that, like you said, Veronica was either good enough to figure it out, or she wasn't.
Cindy! I loved this episode too! Let's stay together!

Lemme tell you since -- oh P-C -- since you made me watch it...
*totally misses the reference*
I was afraid that after Keith got out of the car and was okay, that the other driver would turn out to be Harmony's husband and come back from his truck with a baseball bat or shotgun.
The Keith/Harmony hook-up was understandable plotwise and character-wise, but I still don't like it.
From Kristin at E:
Meanwhile, over on the WB, sources tell me that Veronica Mars has received an order for three more episodes--not the full season it deserves, but this diehard fan will take it! And apparently, One Tree Hill also has received an order for more episodes (either one or three more depending on who you ask). Not a huge show of faith, but at least it's something.
Can you believe she still calls it the WB?
I think she's conflating two pieces of old news into one piece of possibly inaccurate news.
They've ordered three scripts, and directors have been hired for those scripts. That does suggest that perhaps three actual episodes have been ordered, but I don't know whether it's standard practice to string the show along like that rather than just giving them the back nine or not.

(Tina Turner also covered it, probably before you were born).

I kind of feel like if they were going to pick it up, they would have. Whether Kristin is right or it's just a conflation of what you've explained, it sounds very much like what's happened to other shows that weren't picked up.
Damn.
I thought that, when Veronica saw Dr. Landry at the hotel, we were supposed to think that he set up the whole thing just to make sure that she was really as good as he thought she was. Then the scene with Tim came.
Damn.
They've picked up 7th Heaven for fuck's sake! I refuse to live in a world where this could happen.
oops.
