I thought part of the reason she went to the cheating guru is because he'd likely know the inside baseball on how a plagarism checker would work.

I thought part of the reason she went to the cheating guru is because he'd likely know the inside baseball on how a plagarism checker would work.It was, and I thought it worked. I just felt the Mac-shaped hole in the episode.
The lack of Mac tonight was painful. Veronica going to some random dude who helps people cheat for computer help? When I was composing my post, I did have Kalshane's comment (quoted back, above) in mind, though.
We're supposed to hear this week, right?I don't know. I've tried not to follow along too too closely, because worrying about the fate of the series was ruining my enjoyment of the show.
BTW, WTF with the promo from last week? Was there ANYTHING in it that pertained to this episode?
I don't think that there was even a smidgen of a scene from this week's episode in the promo.
I don't think that there was even a smidgen of a scene from this week's episode in the promo.
Me, too.
I disremember the promo.
I just watched it. There was a snippet with Logan's friend, the desk clerk. I think the rest of the scenes were actually from previous episodes, except maybe one where Veronica asks Logan if something is wrong, and he answers, "Yeah." It was a relationship-based promo, more than strictly an episode promo. The announcer said something along the lines of, "Their relationship isn't broken but it's starting to crack." (not exact)
Right. And there really wasn't anything in the episode that related to it. And nothing in the promo about the cheating all around. (Accusations of, Wallace's recovery from, Harmony & Keith.)
Of course it was the TA. Sigh.
That part actually worked for me. After Veronica showing him up constantly this year, it was nice to see that he actually has some brains and didn't get his position by accident. In a way, it was a test. If Veronica was able to figure it out, she'd clear her name and discover the professor's affair. If she failed, then she wasn't worthy of the praise the professor was giving her (in the TA's eyes) and a thorn in his (the TA) side is removed. It wasn't particularly nice, but it made perfect sense to me.
I agree, Kalshane. I loved that it was a big elaborate test and that, like you said, Veronica was either good enough to figure it out, or she wasn't.
Cindy! I loved this episode too! Let's stay together!
