The Jimmy Carter Mask guy who actually grabbed Veronica couldn't have been Weevil, anyhow. He was too tall. The Nixon one could have been.
For a moment, during the robbery, I wanted it to be Weevil and Logan.

YES! That totally bugged me that she not only thought Weevil was involved but that she seemed to think he was the one who stole her necklace. He was WAY too tall!
I assumed she was referring to the "silent partner" as being Weevil.
But during the initial robbery, like Cindy, I also momentarily wondered if it was Logan and Weevil.
I'm trying to imagine the planet on which Weevil would participate in a robbery with someone with such a crap Hispanic accent, and...
I don't think it was a crap Hispanic accent so much as a brilliant imitation of Pacino's crap Hispanic accent in Scarface (which is why Veronica later quotes "Say hello to my little friend" back to the robber/security guy).

He's too street smart. I also couldn't imagine him participating in that kind of robbery, in a place where he knew, ahead of time, that Veronica would be. He knows how smart she is. He's turned to her for help more than once.

Oh, definitely. Plus, I was a little surprised that she didn't have some sort of tracker handy to put in her wallet before they took it--in the past, it seemed she has an endless supply when needed.

I have no proof as no one but my cat was around to hear it, but I totally called the Hearst cop as soon as they showed him. He's tall and he had a grudge against the student running the casino. I thought his height was a total giveaway.
I really liked this episode. I liked all the plot threads, even if they were difficult to follow (I also don't know how to interpret Wallace's scenes), and I liked seeing some tension with Veronica and Logan ("Remember? It was right after you said 'Jump' and I said 'How high?'), and I got a kick out of seeing Jaime Ray Newman as the dean's wife (she plays Lt. Cadman on SGA, possibly my favorite minor character). And so much Weevilly goodness! Loved him calling Veronica on her shit.
Apparently Logan and Veronica were the White Stripes.
Really? Logan was not nearly greasy enough. Were they even wearing red and white?
Ha. I can see it; both their wigs were really awful. (She was wearing red and he was wearing white.) Though I was totally amused at Veronica, master of disguises, wearing such a lame costume for Halloween.

She was hot. And I looked her up, and holy crap, she's only 28. Damn, Dean O'Dell.

It reminded me of the anime wig she wore in TWOC.

she also had a role on General Hospital a few years ago. sadly, she fell victim to Sonny Corinthos drama.
