We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Lee, that blows!

So Tim Foyle looked familiar because, d'oh, the actor also played Lucky.

(I liked Foyle. Better then Piz. I don't think I'm supposed to like Foyle. I think I'm supposed to like Piz. I guess next week, I'll give Piz a chance, but this time, he grated like a block of hard cheese.)

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Lucky Spencer? Huh. I went right from Jonathon Jackson to the new one.

Nah, Lucky the crazy Woodie victim from last season on VMars.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Going back to why Keith ran towards the house, I figured he assumed Vinnie had tipped off Liam (who is after Kendall because he believes he is owed a share of her money, to answer someone's question), and Liam had swiped his gun and he was trying to warn the both of them. Though it's entirely possible he figured out Cormac was going to betray Kendall.

Enjoyed the episode, but wasn't OMG about it. Piz is okay. He does feel very Riley-esque in that he's got some really good lines, but his delivery is off.

But yeah, I think Vinnie's bug is going to be what saves Keith's butt.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He does feel very Riley-esque in that he's got some really good lines, but his delivery is off.

I disagree, as I found him immensely entertaining, moreso than I did on the first viewing. I love how sort of blasé casual he is.

That was Colin Farrell? Jeez, how did I not recognize him? Huh.

I am dumb.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

and the crim prof was hott (who is that? He's so familiar!),

he played the principal(or whatever) on Joan of Arcadia and Piz was in that short-lived show Life As We Know It. the one with Kelly Osbourne.

at this point i'm not anti-Piz. i pretty much enjoyed him in every scene. except the scene when he and Wallace find all of his things missing from his car. they were both over-acting and it was just...bad.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I was pretty much there with the ep (although I don't like the new credits much. They're gonna take some getting used to.)

Like Piz just fine, but he's terribly, terribly doomed if they're setting him up as a romantic interest. Also fine wit Logan, although I prefer bitter, sarcastic!Logan to woobie!Logan.

Parker was amusing me immensely, much the way Gia did last season, up until the last scene. Curious to see where the character goes.

Ryan Hansen sold Dick's ... disintegration ... pretty well. In the past, he's always been a funny ... well, Dick ... but it got increasingly uncomfortable to watch him as the show progressed. Which is actually about the most character development we've seen out of Dick.

Interesting start. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Still love: Vinnie, Backup, KEITH!!!, and Wallace

Do not like: the opening credits. I can no longer boogie on my couch with excitement for a new episode! That was one of my favorite VM rituals!

from the WHA!?!?!? files: OMG The Fitzpatrick thing- just, no. The money everyone's bickering about is the money Kendall got from the Phoenix Landtrust shenanigans, right? The Fitzpatricks are involved in that money how? They just see money and want it? OK, that's so dramatically exciting, except, you know, NSM. I do not understand, or care about Cormac/Liam/Kendall shenanigans. But if it leads to Keith and Vinnie scenes, that will mollify my intense boredom somewhat.

Also, seriously, if Keith had the mad cash from Kendall, why is VM not going to Stanford? I know that Hearst was a given for meta reasons, but was the not going to Stanford thing ever explained?

Campus stuff was fine. Piz was fine. He brought more Wallace screen time, so that's enough to make me happy. Is Piz supposed to be a love interest for VM? @@ MOTW was fine. Was expecting the rape as the first mini arc, due to the setup ep from last season. Dick as rapist= red herring, and OK, so Veronica has to defend an accused rapist she knows and dislikes AGAIN? Or maybe she'll lead the offensive which will lead to the inevitable conflict with Logan.

Also: note to self, get Tivo IMMEDIATELY because OMG what were those Aerie Girls doing during commercial breaks? Besides setting my teeth on edge that is.

Kristin Bell: still making that dialogue pop. I love her. I liked The Parker as well.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, I actually liked the new music! I was dismayed to see that so many people here didn't like it. I thought the visuals and the music over the new titles was a distinct and appreciated improvement.

I really liked this season opener. In general, I've been disappointed with a lot of the new fall series and I was thrilled with VM's opening. I thought it was a bit predictable in parts, but that's okay.

I hope it gets good ratings.
