Unrelatedly, there's another coded message up at helpmeveronica.com. Someone on TWoP figured it out; it looks like it's supposed to help make sense of the articles.

Yeah, it's that song, Cindy. In season 2, they let a bunch of other artists sing it, not just whoever sings it in Season 1. I still don't like it. It grates on my nerves.

I think the Weeds version changes "business executives" to "network executives," but I may be smoking crack.

Once again, my fandoms collide. I was listening to Lifehouse's "Blind" in the car and, silly sap that I am, thought, "man, this would make a GREAT song for Veronica and Logan." Get home, check YouTube and sure enough, Mac is in the freakin' video.

Of course the video was way different from what I imagined in my head, but there you go. Must now create an entirely new video to the song in my head with V & L.

Just saw on TWoP that helpmeveronica.com has been "hacked." There's a pretty freaky video up.

Aww, Mac has a crappy dad but a pretty, pretty house in that video! (is the house also a VM set? For some reason, it feels like one...)

That video on helpmeveronica IS creepy. The voiceover is still pretty wooden though. And I'd actually guess that it's the same guy, but could be wrong. I'm definitely leaning towards this being a very well done fan project - I guess we'll see if it ties in at all to the rape story in the actual series.

What articles? All I see on the site is the vids, and that click me, that just takes me to a drawing of something that looks like a Hearst crest (with "PAGE HELP" on the upper right hand portion of the crest). Then there's another link (from the main page) that looks like a folder, labeled, "Wherein I don't know what's going on." When I click it, it just brings me to graphic reading, "Get a clue, Veronica."

That's because the site was hacked, Cindy. Everything's gone. Once Veronica gets it fixed, you should be able to see the articles.
