Unrelatedly, there's another coded message up at helpmeveronica.com. Someone on TWoP figured it out; it looks like it's supposed to help make sense of the articles.
What articles? All I see on the site is the vids, and that click me, that just takes me to a drawing of something that looks like a Hearst crest (with "PAGE HELP" on the upper right hand portion of the crest). Then there's another link (from the main page) that looks like a folder, labeled, "Wherein I don't know what's going on." When I click it, it just brings me to graphic reading, "Get a clue, Veronica."
That's because the site was hacked, Cindy. Everything's gone. Once Veronica gets it fixed, you should be able to see the articles.

Yep. It's a puzzle. People on other boards have figured most of it out. Try it yourself! It's cool.
How can I do that, without the articles?
It has nothing to do with the articles. Look at the crest. Figure out what to do.
Happy Birthday, Polter-Cow
Just watched the first case video. Pretty clearly not a network toy, unless their standards for acting have gone down a lot - the delivery when the dog barked was WAY too wooden for even really, really bad TV acting.
I'm starting to think it's an elaborate work of fan fiction, sort of like Lonelygirl115, but I'd not expect the same degree of prefessionalism from the Marketing Department that I would from a production company. Still, it's intriguing.
Has anyone figured out the password to get into Veronica's case files? I tried variations of "Cindy Mackenzie" and even "Tina Majorino" and "Madison Sinclair" (The first would have been lame, but the latter would have been clever.) but no go.
It's just "cindy."
It's just "cindy."
Damn, it should be Topic!Cindy.
There is a cute interview with Tina Majorino in the Washington Post's freebie supplement this morning. She talks about how her personal style is very different from Mac's ('Mac has never worn a dress!") but that she has 5 Mac(intosh)s at home. She's into photography and surfs. At 21, she just bought her first home. You go gurrl!
