Strawberry disappointment.

I think Denise offered to send you DVDs of season 1. You should PM her and catch up with all us popular kids.

I noticed my mistake. It's all so new this livejournal malarky, *shaky head* how you young uns keep up with this wizardry I'll never know.

On reflection the proceeding two paragraphs seem to be contradicting each other on the old/young front. I'll just leave them like that as evidence to my crazy mixed up youthness or sad decline into old age. You decide.

This ramble was brought to you by Boredom. The game you all can play at work.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Finally I can read this thread! Watched the finale last night with Bob and my mom, who is visiting. Mom had never seen the show before and knew nothing about it. She called the killer by minute fucking 25, about. And that he was in the back seat of the car. Bob and I had never even suspected-- I was convinced by Couch Baron's theory that it was Abel Koontz.

I despised Spike and Spike shipping, but lurve Logan. Which means that Jason Dohring will get his own show and Veronica will hook up with Weevil, who will become woobified and hateable.

As for the door: I want Wallace, but it might be Lisa Rinna. Who apparently does not look that bad in real life, according to a friend who did her reel.

Thanks, tiggy. I would buy them, because I think that's how I'm destined to see most TV I love, but I want to make sure I love the show before I do so, you know?

TiVo tells me I have Weapons of Class Destruction; Hot Dogs; M.A.D.; and Leave it to Beaver saved.

If they aired a re-run on 9/7, then either I forgot to mark it "keep until I delete" or it didn't record.

If I watch these, and whatever is airing next Wednesday, can I go into season 2 with a reasonable idea of what's going on?

I definitely understand. kind of why i love netflix. even though i haven't really been utilizing it very much lately.

well...technically, yes. but you've missed all of the build-up and the payoff won't mean as much without it. IMO.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

But... but... Cindy, you're missing "A Trip to the Dentist", which is possibly the best episode of the season and the one in which we learn all about Veronica's rape! (It's supposed to come right before "Leave It to Beaver".) Also, if you end up liking the show at all, I think you'll be distressed to get to the final frame of "M.A.D" and *not* get to watch the next episode, but jump to the finale.

Also, what tiggy said about missing the build-up. But you know, I'm a completist and also unreasonably obsessed with this show, so probably I'm not the best person to ask. That said, there is no way you've been on this thread and missed the whole Veronica/Logan development (which is the big WHOA moment in "Weapons of Mass Destruction") so maybe you can watch that episode (which has a nice stand-alone plot) and see if you like it enough get invest in the DVD set. But really--you'll want to get your hands on ATttD before the finale. Trust me.

Did that air last week?

I saw one of the boys confessing something to Veronica, as I was walking out of the room while an episode was TiVoing? I think it may have TiVo-ed, and that we forgot to set it to "Keep 'til I delete" or that one of the kids accidentally deleted it. It looked like an important episode, which is why I left the room. I didn't want to see it from halfway through.

Hey. New board.

It was definitely on last week. I watched about 10 minutes of it at Crush!Girl's apartment, which was enough to get her interested in seeing the series, so I changed the channel to avoid spoiling.
