typical Mamet then?
It's Mamet, only more so.

Yeah. It was well past "flat" into "frigid" territory.
The last two Mamet films I watched before this one had some shards of warmth in them (that would be "The Winslow Boy" and "State and Main", although I guess you can't really count the former as a true Mamet), but I wasn't surprised that he was true to form in this flick.

State and Main was eh. The funniest line, I thought was after the car accident, when Alec Baldwin's character said, "Well. That happened."
I'm whitefonting this because it's technically a casting spoiler, but I'm sure it will be everywhere soon enough.
Joss is going to guest star on VM: [link]
Oh, I think people who don't watch VM will want to know that. What to do, what to do?
Yum.
awesome!!
You all will be glad to know that, although the CC on the first half hour of east-coast VM was 100% wonkeriffic, it returned to normal before the end of the hour.
But it was pretty funny, learning about refugee dolphins while Veronica was being menaced and shit.
Nutty, I got the debate over gay marriage in Massechusets.
I saw your comments about that in Natter. I was going to ask quester if he (she? --oof I should know this one, I am ashamed of myself) is from Massachusetts, but the spelling of the state name in the last post gives me my answer. :)
Massachusetts needs a cool little spelling rhythm, you know, like Mississippi has, but I don't think I can come up with one.
