I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I don't think DNA discussions were about paternity. there wasn't really any cause for us to suspect Duncan wasn't the father until now(though quite a few have speculated it since we found out she was pregnant).

just rewatched those three scenes in succession. you know what? i could watch these two just stare longingly at each other for an entire episode.

Art Crawl!!!

That could be the theme of the clip show: Logan and Veronica staring longingly at each other while everything else is VO'd for those who missed it.

Or it could be told in flashbacks.

Eee! Episode started out SO GOOD.

Leo! He's so much cuter when he's not dating Veronica.

OMG, the locker-side chlamydia and prom conversation between Logan and Veronica? That sentence sounds so wrong, and yet that scene was SO RIGHT.

And then there was all this Gia and drama and Woody and Terrence and boredom.

Lucky is appropriately creepy. Though the creepy music probably helps.

Mac is so pretty with her fancy hair and dress! And Butters is actually kinda cute in his zoot suity thing. And sweet. Aww.

Wallace is the shortest basketball player EVAH.

HAAHH! LOVE Veronica making jokes to Madison about being "on the Lam(b)"

Oh, Logan and Veronica at the antiprom. Logan with undone bowtie. That song! Oh. Oh. Heart broken! Oh. This is making me cry, dude. It's all "I'll see you in Budapest some day around a corner" with the "we should have an epic romance"! I was just WAITING for Dick to interrupt it somehow, though. But Veronica running away was much less painful. Yet, painful. Oh, wonderful. I adore the angst.

I do NOT need to see Jackie and Wallace getting it on! EW! Rob, you're wasting time! Only so many eps left to solve the mysteries, and we do not need Jackie and Wallace! That's 20 or 30 more seconds that you could be either explaining shit, or showing more Veronica/Logan!!

OK, but Veronica! First thing the morning after people have been drunk, is NOT the time to have ANY kind of important conversation. Or delicate ones. Geeez, girlie!

OMG, I was totally expecting Kendall to answer the door, but then she didn't, so I didn't expect her to show up. EWWWWWWW!

OK< now to catch up on thread.

Ooh. The previews. I totally want Jackie dead! YES!

I remembered the Lucky/Manning connection (wanting him to marry Meg) when they said who bailed him out.

I find the Duncan-gave-her-VD thing weird.

I can't believe how freaking many threads are left hanging with so little left to go!!

And I would totally watch an episode of Veronica and Logan staring at each other. HOTTTT.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think Gia is kind of the prettier version of Shelley Duvall.

Ooh, that's so right! She's pretty in a weird way.

What is even happening?

Broken now.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Duncan totally gave Veronica VD.

And he totally got it from Kendall.

Interesting that Logan did not mention the Kendall thing to Veronica when she point blank asked. Maybe because it was more suspicion than "that's all I know."

Why the Terrance leak now? Because of the incorporation not going through?

Did Keith return that hard drive?

I wish Veronica had invited Weevil to the alterna-prom.

LOVED Veronica's riff about "on the Lamb, cops crawling all over you." Made me laugh so had. KB nailed that. (no surprise there)

I have a weird vibe that Lamb is involved somehow if sexual abuse is going on... likely as a victim or a silent witness... just a weird vibe to me, stemming from the episode with the Manning's daughter in the closet...

What is even happening?

I don't know if I buy Duncan got VD from Kendall. I think it is entirely possible he got it from Meg, and I think there's stuff so rotten in Neptune, it makes Denmark smell like daisies.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Why the Terrance leak now? Because of the incorporation not going through?

Maybe Woody leaked it to distract from the whole drunken intern issue?

I was working on a crazy theory that the whole "drunk lady in the motel" sitatuation was a set-up to frame Keith. But then I realized that Woody would hardly want to do something so risky so close to the incorporation vote.

I like the Lucky -> Meg -> Duncan -> Veronica chain for the VD. It has a certain "Dun dun duh!" to it.

there is something to be said for the lyric and imperial attitude / believe that everything is for you until you discover that you are for it

The guy who played Lucky totally nailed the scene in the jailcell with Keith - definitely abuse.

I’m still sort of weirded out by how marriage-minded people are on this show. Meg’s family wasn’t living in a compound – you’d think they’d want her to go to Bob Jones U and meet someone with both Crazy and a BA. And the whole Lianne/Jake/Celeste triangle seemed sort of age-inappropriate. High schoolers take going to the prom with someone as seriously as they do the idea of marriage – probably more so. It’s not that they don’t think they’re going to be together For Ever and Ever, just Ever and Ever doesn’t really go farther than next week.

As for the Chlamydia, all you have to do is follow the clues. Since Chlamydia is the leading (preventable) cause of blindness, it’s obvious that Duncan got it from making sweet love with the woman who owned the green car (because the Fitzpatrics have to be involved in even the Chlamydia plotline). They had a bond because he didn’t always feel like she was judging his Argyll sweater-vests.

I’m glad they’re making Woody an equal opportunity sexual predator (to take away the ooky gay=paedophile vibe).
