Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

Because books.

What did Kendall get from Aaron in exchange for getting Duncan's hair?

I completely forgot about that. So much information to keep track of! This show taxes my brain.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Crud, I forgot it changed nights. Are they showing it again tomorrow?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

My listings show it running tomorrow night, Corwood.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

One nagging question: If Veronica took the bullets out of the gun, why did she call her dad to say someone was going to be shot, and why was she freaking out when he hung up? Seems like a cheap misdirect.

Two reasons: one, she had no idea if more than one gun was involved -- this was one of those rare times where Veronica actually did something responsible and called for help when she was over her head.

Second, the freak out came from the realization that her father was in the house and was in danger. Which is an awkward way to find these things out.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

not to mention that at first she didn't know whose house it was and the homeowner could have had a gun.

But why would you assume that? And why would she care if Liam was going to get shot, really? Seems like a stretch to me. It just came off as a cheap way to cut to commercial with Extra! Suspense!, you know?

I'm still trying to process how much we learned last night, and how much left there is to resolve in the remaining episodes. I'm also beginning to be really curious about what could happen next season.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I'm in Victor's camp on this. There were too many variables for Veronica to know for sure that her having taken the bullets out of the gun would prevent anything from happening. She saw Liam heading into an unknown house with a gun, and heard Kendall say that someone was still inside. She called for help, and finding out it was her dad inside caused her to panic.

On a side note, this is the second time this season we've seen someone threaten/try to shoot someone with an empty gun. I have suspicion someone is going to end up shot by the end of it.

I'd be disappointed if no one gets shot. In fact, I'll be disappointed if Duncan doesn't come back and get shot.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

In fact, I'll be disappointed if Duncan doesn't come back and get shot.

I'll be disappointed if he isn't shot many times, by many people. Possibly with a slo-mo musical montage.

Snerk.

Liam could have loaded the gun between the time Veronica took the bullets and the time Liam was going in the house.

I can see the cheap suspense claim, but it worked for me anyway.

I need to give some thought to the list of plotlines and characters and what is up in the air. (alas work to do) It does look like we have some Gia action next week. Her involvement in the whole picture interests me.
