Vonnie, I agree with you. I could never understand any of the rationale for it being Logan at the door. It made no sense at all, especially given his state and the state of their relationship that night.

I want it to be Wallace. But I suspect it's Logan or Duncan.

Huh. I was betting on Weasel Weevil. I want it to be Logan, but I feel confident that this is going to be the Season Of Betrayed Logan Angst.

So... how long before we can have a serious discussion of gender and VMars? Hmm? Hmm?

Because I like the show a lot, but I do indeed have issues.

So, she has one female friend who's dead, and another one who betrays her by dating her ex-boyfriend. Her mother the Evil Alcoholic steals her money.

All her friends are boys.

Although, there's Meg, who's been a pretty good friend. And maybe the lack of friends is because VM was going through a lot of stuff this year and has not must made (or re-made) friends other than those connected to the Lily Kane murder (Logan, Duncan) or who could help her with her investigations (Weevil, Wallace).

Whoa whoa whoa. Meg didn't "betray" her. Veronica gave them her blessing. Afterwards, she regretted it, but Meg didn't deliberately go after Duncan.

And you left off Mac, with whom she has a perfectly fine relationship.

I was going to mention Mac!

And they do sort of acknowlege that Veronica's relationship issues are at least partially because of her own attitude.

What happens to Mac in the end of the season? She's pretty much MIA.

Veronica behaves as though Meg betrayed her; she's never really comfortable afterwards. And Veronica didn't WANT to give permission; she just knew it was the only just thing to do.
