I was going to mention Mac!
Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind.
[NAFDA] Spoiler Policy: Seasons 1-3 and the movie are fair game. Spoiler font two weeks for new content presented all at once (e.g. Season 4 on Hulu is fair game as of Aug. 9, 2019). New content presented as weekly episodes may be discussed with no restrictions as it is released.
And they do sort of acknowlege that Veronica's relationship issues are at least partially because of her own attitude.
What happens to Mac in the end of the season? She's pretty much MIA.
Veronica behaves as though Meg betrayed her; she's never really comfortable afterwards. And Veronica didn't WANT to give permission; she just knew it was the only just thing to do.
BTW, for those of us who need a refresher, this is a good site.
Personally, I recommend this site. *cough*
Shiny new thread. Wheee!
So... how long before we can have a serious discussion of gender and VMars? Hmm? Hmm?
Get us started?

I hope Mac gets a bigger role next year, because Veronica REALLY needs some good girlfriends. I wouldn't mind seeing Carmen again either. Meg is more problematic, but that's through no faults of Meg's. Veronica, much as she is my girl, has more issues than National Geographics and more buttons than a NASA shuttle control room.
ETA: HA! I knew it.
Excellent new thread! I am one of those canucks finding the VM love through summer repeats. I've missed a few eps along the way, but am loving what I've seen so far.
And now I have to avoid this thread until the summer reruns are done. Hopefully I'll get to see the second season...I should check my listings to be sure...
Veronica found out that Duncan was chasing Meg before Meg even knew. By hauling Meg to the dance and sending her off with Duncan, she absolutely gave her blessing. Just because Veronica feels ackward around the two of them, doesn't equal betrayal.
Well, I think Rob Thomas has basically said in some interview or another that it's either Duncan or Logan at the door. Because otherwise the fans would feel "betrayed" - though, gotta say, I read that and actually... felt betrayed.
It NEEDS to be Wallace.
But that's neither here nor there. Given the creator's comment, it's got to be Duncan. I still think that means the last 4 seconds of the finale were poorly done (maybe Kristen didn't even know who it was?) because Veronica looks too happy and un-conflicted for it to be either of the love boys.
Veronica gave Meg her blessing, 100%.
Mac does need a bigger role. I ♥ Mac.
