Justfinally watched this episode, and for all the drama, the only thing I can say is "NOoooooo! I want Beaver and Mac to be HAPPY together!!!" I don't want him to be gay, or mean, or just using her, or whatever! Noooooooo! (Ooh, though reading what y'all wrote, having been molested is definitely an option...a sad, sucky option, but...)

And the Thumper and Woody bits were OK, but the Jackie and Wallace thing was just kinda annoying. Like, I just really didn't care. I guess we're supposed to be liking Jackie, now that she is kind to Special Ed students?

Woody WAS totally feeling up Logan. Which...WTF? C'mon, are we suddenly supposed to be all "Oh! Woody is GAY! And/or molests young boys! And that's why the bus crashed" or something? I'd be very disappointed in that ending, I think.

If it was "good luck getting laid", I think I need to switch to being angry at him.

Damn. Now I'ma have to kick his ass.

If Woody killed to stay in the closet, then I hope that he did not molest Beaver. It's not that gays can't be pedophiles, but it's really playing into a bad stereotype.

No shit. And if him weirdly hitting on Logan is supposed to be a hint of his pedophilia...um...NO. Logan is quite obviously not a child. Or, what Cindy said--it's not wrong to find Logan hot. :)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I immediately thought the kid in the back of the van was Woody's son, but that was when I thiught there wa sonly one kid, and was probably just a reaction to the kid-in-cage imagery.

I gotta believe the "remember Sally" line has something to do with Beaver's damage.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

BTW, this is random, but I thought the video of Woody's house was taken by his son. Was the son at the dinner table?

Our wings are not tired.

I'm still on the Woody train.

I just wanted to read that again.

I thought the video of Woody's house was taken by his son

Ohhh that's the vibe I got too but I have no reason to think it, just a gut feeling. Dunno why though....

What is even happening?

hmm. so maybe his dad abused him after all? I think it has to be his dad or Dick.

I don't think so. His dad was too disconnected from him. I think he'd be favoring him as a bribe to keep his mouth shut.

Like Plei, I'm on the Woody train, but this morning, something suddenly made me remember the MotW from the first S2 episode, and the Boatloads of Fun Corp, and my stomach did a flip flop. I don't think Beaver had any connection to them, but I just can't help but wonder if they'll reappear.

BTW, this is random, but I thought the video of Woody's house was taken by his son.

I think Beaver sent it.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmmm, Cindy -- that's very interesting. I'd forgotten about them too.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I don't think so. His dad was too disconnected from him. I think he'd be favoring him as a bribe to keep his mouth shut.

Yeah, Beaver was constantly trying to get his dad's favor and affection, so I don't see him as likely.

Boatloads of Fun Corp

Yeah, I'm sure that's going to come up again in some fashion.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

BTW, this is random, but I thought the video of Woody's house was taken by his son. Was the son at the dinner table?

Hmmm ... I'm surprised people are pointing to Woody's son. Admittedly, the one time we met the kid it was weird, disturbing and kept in frame too long, but we only met the kid once. Not saying he's not important -- I suspect he is, but I don't think he's an active participant in anything.

On the other hand, I once again find myself returning to Gia. Gia the dumb-as-a-post twit, to all appearances, but she's got a role in all this somewhere. So ... why was she sent away to boarding school? (answers have never satisifed me here.) And was she only brought back so Woody could have a political showpiece of having his daughter in the school (which actually does satisfy me)? Hmmm ... she's in frame a lot. Admittedly, she's in frame being a twit ... but...

People are rarely entirely dimwitted. Kendall's shown some cunning, and even Dick has a neuron working in there somewhere. So why not Gia?

Now, I'm not trying to say she's a culprit of, well, anything. I don't see it. But I'll bet she knows something, and I can see her sending the video to get under her father's skin.

Art Crawl!!!

So, she hired a minion to make a creepy video of herself and her dad in their house?
