What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

George Michael asks Maeby to watch some DVDs of [link] with him.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

It was a reference to the drama of yesterday morning.

Ah. Okay.

There was a neat... uhh..... parallel?... not sure what you'd call it, how at the beginning of the ep, Veronica says "If it were far away in Maine, I'd be excited, but it's in Neptune, so I'm not", and at the end, Hannah gets sent to Vermont.

Which made me think of Hawkeye on M*A*S*H as they originally said he was from Vermont and then changed it to Maine as the series went on. But that's more about how my brain works than any intention by the VM writers.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Which made me think of Hawkeye on M*A*S*H as they originally said he was from Vermont and then changed it to Maine as the series went on.

In both the book and movie, Hawkeye was from Maine, so the Vermont reference was more likely an error that they fixed later.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

In both the book and movie, Hawkeye was from Maine, so the Vermont reference was more likely an error that they fixed later.

As was the man who used Richard Hooker as his pen name, IIRC.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, I was upset because George Michael was the only other person who could have been the rapist, but I'm glad they didn't follow through with that.

I also figured George Michael HAD to be the rapist. Nevertheless, Cera was so good last night. That kid is a national treasure. A treasure!

So...if Hearst is Sunnydale High (I forget where that is), is the cast going to film in LA next season?

Hearst was UCSD and San Diego State.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I also figured George Michael HAD to be the rapist

I was worried about that as well. I'm glad he can be back next year.

Do you guys think there's any way for a HS show to actually have some suspense wrt college?

I loved the campaign poster a lot. If it weren't for yesterday's House, it would have been my favourite thing this week (not just on tv)

eta: also loving the love-fest between VM and AD

Hey. New board.

I briefly thought Rory might actually go to Harvard for a while. But then I realized that I didn't care at all. (Season 3 of Gilmore Girls - not the finest TV ever.)

Also, yeah, yesterday's House rocked.

What is even happening?

Last week's ratings were fine. About the same as the week before. I'm not sure what your friend is talking about.

What's going on with the ratings, in general? I'm seeing people in LJ-land (like Shannon) saying the ratings are worrisome, and Rob sort of indicating the same thing, only less urgently.
