I missed the first half of the season; I read all of the ep descriptions on P-C's favorite website but it's very unclear to me whether
Duncan is really Veronica's brother, since I don't figure Celeste is an accurate narrator.
Did we ever get full proof whether that's true?
Also, tonight's episode? Wow. Also creepy. I'm looking forward to next week's, which I think is the season finale.
d, it is the season finale next week.
I'm watching Trip to the Dentist right now.
Having not seen a lot of the early season episodes, I didn't really grok why Logan/Veronica was so squicky. It's funny how much more sense it makes, even with no new information (Oh, yeah, Weevil was sleeping with Lily. I knew that.), then they connect dots for me. I like to think I'm a better critical tv-watcher than that.
Did we ever get full proof whether that's true?
d, that question will be answered in the finale.

Thanks!
I always thought Logan was a little squicky. First or second ep I saw was him getting belted, which helped me understand his own issues a little. Not that it made him any less squicky. Meanwhile Veronica says she trusts him and all I can think is WHY? And then of course she proves that she doesn't.
Why can't I get these quickedits the first time? sheesh.
Meanwhile Veronica says she trusts him and all I can think is WHY?
I think sometimes you just need someone to trust, you know? Even if deep down, it's not true. Veronica's been swimming in a sea of lies all season, uncovering this huge cover-up about her best friend's murder, discovering things no one ever told her, and while Logan's not a model citizen, I don't think he's lied to her in the present, which allows her to make that sudden leap to trust. And of course, I think freely admitting to his part in the whole ordeal helped. So no, I don't think she should necessarily trust him, but I completely understand why she did. Sometimes you just need it.
Just a note: the first time I watched the episode, I had a similar WTF reaction, so this may all just be my own fanwank.
I never thought Logan was squicky. I had a big ol' crush on him from the beginning. That's not to say I thought Veronica should trust him. I thought if she'd learned anything, it was trust no one.

Don't SAY that - or next season we could end up with Butt Genies!
I thought, if she'd learned anything, it would be to no drink from open containers at parties. But YLife LessonMV
I saw "A Trip to the Dentist" last night. I thought it was a little melodramatic, but seriously good television. I'm a little worried about next week, though -- half the people I know seemed to really hate the finale.
Is the woman with Veronica's dad at the end her mom? I forget what she looks like.
Yes. And the finale fucking rocked.
