What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Meanwhile Veronica says she trusts him and all I can think is WHY?

I think sometimes you just need someone to trust, you know? Even if deep down, it's not true. Veronica's been swimming in a sea of lies all season, uncovering this huge cover-up about her best friend's murder, discovering things no one ever told her, and while Logan's not a model citizen, I don't think he's lied to her in the present, which allows her to make that sudden leap to trust. And of course, I think freely admitting to his part in the whole ordeal helped. So no, I don't think she should necessarily trust him, but I completely understand why she did. Sometimes you just need it.

Just a note: the first time I watched the episode, I had a similar WTF reaction, so this may all just be my own fanwank.

I never thought Logan was squicky. I had a big ol' crush on him from the beginning. That's not to say I thought Veronica should trust him. I thought if she'd learned anything, it was trust no one.

Don't SAY that - or next season we could end up with Butt Genies!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I thought, if she'd learned anything, it would be to no drink from open containers at parties. But YLife LessonMV

Up with the sun

I saw "A Trip to the Dentist" last night. I thought it was a little melodramatic, but seriously good television. I'm a little worried about next week, though -- half the people I know seemed to really hate the finale.

Is the woman with Veronica's dad at the end her mom? I forget what she looks like.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

hip deep in pie

CTV has just showed us Ep 20, and now how postponed the last two episodes until September 25 and October 2. FIE!

Which also means that they don't plan to premiere Season 2 at the same time it will be showing in the US. I don't like this network anymore.

I swear, it seems (totally pulling this anecdotage out of my ass and probably ignoring many exceptions) all the guys I've seen talking about it loved the finale, and the girls are a little more iffy.

It might just be that the women I know who saw the finale are on LiveJournal, and LiveJournal tends to breed pickiness and discontent.

the finale definitely isn't my favorite episode, but it wasn't awful. i just wasn't happy with the killer reveal. YKMV.

I have heard this. there are some people in my community on livejournal who are writing CTV to voice their displeasure. here's the info, if you're interested:
