Grargh! I just got spoiled for the next episode by my DVR. I was setting the thing up to record VM and checking to see if it was really going to record only new episodes and the very first sentence of the episode description (which was all that was visible) was a spoiler. So, if you've got Comcast, don't look at the episode description in the online guide. Ugh.
'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'
Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind.
[NAFDA] Spoiler Policy: Seasons 1-3 and the movie are fair game. Spoiler font two weeks for new content presented all at once (e.g. Season 4 on Hulu is fair game as of Aug. 9, 2019). New content presented as weekly episodes may be discussed with no restrictions as it is released.
that sucks, Kalshane. is it sad that i went straight to my TiFaux to read it? though to be honest, i kinda figured this was what was going to happen based on the name of the episode.
I get Veronica Mars alerts from gmail. I thought the title for the next episode was anvillicious anyhow, but gmail spoiled me big.
Here's a fantastic essay on Veronica's, Duncan's, and...hell, nearly everyone's characterizations this season as facets of a return to normalcy.
If your UPN station is Boston's UPN WSBK-TV 38...
VM will not be airing this Wednesday night because we deserve to be punished of college basketball. As of now and per my TiVo, VM is slated to air Saturday at 10:00pm, in its usual re-run slot.
Aw, bummer, Topic!Cindy. There needs to be timely VM in the Boston Area. It's not like you folks have the Super Bowl to distract you. (Us Chicagoans neither, darnit.)
Ben was watching Sports Desk this morning before church. They simulated a play-off game between the Pats and the Steelers, and the Pats would have won, 15-7. He took it hard. Football losses don't sting me the way baseball losses do.
There does need to be timely VM for me, though. I'm spoiled for this upcoming one. I haven't planned on spoiling for VM, but white wings and newfan went to that event in Austin. They saw the next episode, and I couldn't resist the spoiler font. I was feeling guilty, but now I mostly feel like I deserved to spoil. Stupid college basketball.
I was thinking of you the other day. Ben and I were talking about baseball. This fall, he met one of Scott's great uncles, who played for the Cubbies yonks ago, and was a scout for a good long time, too. We never told him though about the cousin (not a first cousin) who played for the White Sox in the 90s.
VM is showing in a timely fashion in Delray Beach. Pop on down and watch with me. We don't delay important stuff for stinky sports.
At least that is copacetic with my desire to record Lost and Bones this week. Curses to whoever decreed that all three should be on at the same time!
