I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Well that would explain it!

Note to self: do not go public with nitpicking when said nits come to you while either falling asleep or just waking up.

Our wings are not tired.

Or he could be living in the house that he bought to annoy Weevil. (yeah, I thought he was in the hotel too)

Visilurking

guess we are to assume that Logan's house has been rebuilt/repaired after the fire, as that's where he was when he was watching/erasing the tapes.

I thought he was at Duncan's, or in some other type of apartment/hotel room. Maybe I'm misremembering.

ETA: I need to remember to refresh after leaving my computer for 20 minutes and then posting.

What is even happening?

I hope someone can answer this. I need it kind of quickly.

Can anyone find the quote where Rob Thomas explains that only Bell (and I guess maybe Colantoni) are the only actors in the opening credits who they have contracted for every episode of the season. I think it was given in a response to a "Why isn't Logan/Weevil/Duncan in more episodes?" sort of question. Additionally, if the info is out there, I'm trying to find out if we know for how many episodes Thompson and Daggs are contracted.

it's in one of the TWOP interviews from last season.

Here's the relevant quote:

CB: A lot of posters lament the fact that Weevil doesn't get much screen time, although most concede that it's better for him to be underused than overused. Are we going to see more of him over the rest of the season?

RT: You'll see him about the same amount. You'll have a bunch of episodes where he's in two scenes, and a couple where he's in three or four. But one thing people should know is that according to our actor deals, only Kristen, Percy, and Rico are in all the shows produced. Francis and Jason and Teddy are all seven of nine, or seven of nine in the back and ten of thirteen in the front. So we don't use them in some episodes not because we don't want to, but because contractually we don't have them.

Hey. New board.

That was last season, though.

Did it change, Gris? Also, do you know if Daggs was cut back, and if so, why? Was Wallace's absense only storyline driven, or was it contractual (or a favor to Daggs, perhaps to allow him to work on another project)?

If Wallace's absence was only story-driven, they could have still worked him in... my assumption would be (and I am talking out of my ass here) that it was to permit Daggs to work on another project. Or perhaps the reason for full radio silence of the character will come back later in the season.

That was my guess too, Nora. I'm just wondering, because I'm working on a (pro-VM/pro-Rob Thomas) rant. There's a blog entry floating around fandom, criticizing feminists who are Veronica Mars fans. The first point the bloggers make is about race, however, and that although there are two African Americans in the opening credits, they've been gone.

I don't enjoy watching the character Jackie, and can see why (considering the lack of fan love, not to mention the actual plot) with Wallace's absence, we wouldn't see her while Wallace is gone. I was hoping to find out if there had been any change in Daggs' contract, though.
