I think they had Veronica's jury go from acquit to convict as a reversal of the 12 Angry Men trope, although legally it's shaky and I was a bit confused at the beginning as to what they were trying to do. And I yelled at Keith for tampering.

It would have been nice if Veronica had at least lampshaded the 12 Angry Men with a pop culture zinger. Or maybe I missed it.

The tape stealing was lame, and pinning it on Leo was even lamer. I suspect A. Echolls will get significantly less time as a result (maybe just on the attempted murder charge) and be out of prison by mid-S3 or early S4. Which could be kind of fun.

Was it Keith that did it? From his lack of computer knowledge, I just assumed that Mac had put that on there. Which confused me, but hey.

It was totally Keith. VM's voiceover and Keith's little smile clinched it.

Methinks Keith was faking his "faulty computer knowledge." No way can the guy be a top notch PI and not know computers nowadays.

Keith should also know that if they wanted to, that degaussed tapes aren't necessarily useless. At the very least, there would be and attempt to recover from the digital tapes.

Also, one of the first things one would thingk the prosecution would have done is make a DVD set off the tapes. Sounds fishy.

Maybe Leo will turn out to have another copy...

The whole episode is of the not-sense-making.

Why steal all the tapes, when you can get good money for just 1? Why did they call Keith when Meg died? Why put in all the confusing and not entertaining lines? Why did Lamb take off his shirt?
