What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

did he or did he not give an interview at the beginning of the season saying that if we watched the pilot we would have all the answers we would need to name the killer.

Heh. That interview. I am having a sinking suspicion that interview doesn't exist. Because I can't find the actual interview anywhere, just people reporting that they read somewhere that he said that.

Rob told the cast the identity of the killer when they were filming the second episode. (And that's an interview I did read for myself.)

I know for a fact that the cast gave interviews towards the end of the season saying they were all trying to figure out who it was and only Kristen had figured it out.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Eh. I didn't put much stock in the whole "introduced in the pilot" hint. And if RT was planning Logan to be the murderer and changed his mind later, then I'm sort of grateful that he did. There were A LOT of people in the fannish circle who were wedded to the idea of Lianne Mars as a killer (I did think similarly at one point) and got disappointed when that speculation fell through, but I think we had a pretty solid build-up for the reveal of the killer's identity.

But as far as emotional whammy went, nothing beats "A Trip to the Dentist", which is probably my favorite VM episode of the season, despite my quibbles with some of Logan and Veronica characterizations

Right. I know this too. And they were big fat liars.

If you e-mail me, I have one other piece of information to contribute (it's from an MI.net interview we haven't posted yet).

hip deep in pie

I was shocked to find someone on my flist today that just saw WoCD and had not been spoiled for the KISS!!

I wasn't spoiled for that. I know who the killer is, but not the how's or the why's. I knew she was seeing Logan by the end of the season, but that's about it. And I know that she opens the door to find someone, but I don't know the context.

I think Kristen Bell is great. I have thought on occasion, that she would have made a great Buffy.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

KB does have spot-on banter timing down; plus she sure can bring the emotional gravitas.

TeeVee.org had a funny post-finale article with tongue-in-cheek comparison of Buffy and VM: Veronica = Buffy, Duncan = Angel (the phrase "forehead-intensive broody ex-boyfriend" still cracks me up), Logan = Spike, Mac = Willow, Wallace = Xander and Meg = Cordelia (well, that last one is a stretch, but hey, cheerleaders.)

Vonnie, i didn't think that RT had Logan as the killer. i was just saying that if Logan wasn't supposed to be more than an occasional guest star, the impact of having his father be the killer would have hardly been OMGWTF worthy. i actually had what i thought was a pretty solid theory about Celeste being the killer and was very disappointed that i was wrong.

Right. I know this too. And they were big fat liars.

ha! well they are actors, after all. will email you in a sec.

I think Kristen Bell is great. I have thought on occasion, that she would have made a great Buffy.

agreed. i think SMG was a great Buffy, but there were some things she couldn't sell me on that i bet KB could.

going to e P-C and then get to bed. damn monday.

forehead-intensive broody ex-boyfriend

Bwah!

Now I'm imagining personal ads:

SWF seeking forehead-intensive SM for mutually self destructive relationship. Must be prone to violent outbursts, carry around lots of emotional baggage, and possess the ability to brood for days. Strained relationship with father that causes intense feelings of self-loathing and/or gypsy curse would be considered assets.

That's where I was when i started watching. too.
