I regret to inform you that evidently Mallard Fillmore, the never-funny right wing duck of the comic strips, is supposedly a big fan of the show. Sortof a "Hitler was a vegetarian?" kind of news.
Yeah, I almost did a spit take when I read that on Monday (I read every single strip in the Globe daily, even the ones that make me want to beat the cartoonist with a rolled up newspaper until they bleed from the eyes).

Oddly tying it all together:
unless I'm mistaken, he and Rob were childhood friends. They lost touch for a while but ran into each other again at just the right time.

He also shouts out to his friend Jennings Crawford in, like, everything.
Here we have the first scene with Cliff McCormack, played by Daran Norris, who I am so pleased with and proud of and...for those who don't know, Daran and I had been friends since we were three years old. And we fell out of touch for....we were both in Washington state; I moved to Texas; we fell out of touch from ages 10 to 24. And then my band came to L.A. to play when I was twenty-four years old, and I heard Daran was working as an actor in L.A., and I looked him up and we reconnected.
I have yet to get around to listening to the commentary. maybe one of these years.
I think Daran is probably my favorite non-credited cast member. very close second is Michael Muhney.

For those who are watching tonight - my power was out for the 1st 15 minutes of the episode. Will I be able to follow what's going on if I start 15 minutes in or should I wait for Sunday's rerun?
