unless I'm mistaken, he and Rob were childhood friends. They lost touch for a while but ran into each other again at just the right time.
really? i did not know that. how neat! RT is good to his friends.

I think he mentioned it in his pilot commentary.
He also shouts out to his friend Jennings Crawford in, like, everything.
Here we have the first scene with Cliff McCormack, played by Daran Norris, who I am so pleased with and proud of and...for those who don't know, Daran and I had been friends since we were three years old. And we fell out of touch for....we were both in Washington state; I moved to Texas; we fell out of touch from ages 10 to 24. And then my band came to L.A. to play when I was twenty-four years old, and I heard Daran was working as an actor in L.A., and I looked him up and we reconnected.
I have yet to get around to listening to the commentary. maybe one of these years.
I think Daran is probably my favorite non-credited cast member. very close second is Michael Muhney.
You have to listen! He gives me a shout-out!

what else is new? *g*
Edwin's crayons were "Joshola" brand. wonder whose shout out that was...
random thoughts:
the Logan/Veronica interaction is making me giddy.
Dick is a dumbass.
For those who are watching tonight - my power was out for the 1st 15 minutes of the episode. Will I be able to follow what's going on if I start 15 minutes in or should I wait for Sunday's rerun?
HOT DAMN!!! a hint at Lamb's past. woooooooobie!!!
Huh.
You know, I believe Meg would be tormented yet feel unable to come forward to condemn her parents, but I cannot believe that 1) Meg would be so well-adjusted growing up in a household like this, and 2) Lizzie would have stayed quiet if she knew this was happening.
Duncan! With the letter-stealing and the possible Kendall-boinking! Hidden depth, boyfriend.
Lamb is not a complete asshole. Who knew?
I was wondering about that too. Unless this was an extreme/crazy/disturbed response to them "failing" with Lizzie and started happening recently.
Also, song at the end was annoying and played way too loud. Though the latter factor might have contributed to the degree of the former.
