Veronica Mars' analog on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is in many ways not Buffy herself, but Cordelia in Season One and Two of "Angel."

I can see that but the comparison is imperfect because in her earlier "popular" days she was less Cordelia than one of the Cordettes.
Finally caught up, and most people have said what needs to be said. Loved the ep - I agree with the several that this was the best of the season so far. And Joss was a hoot (he should have all copies of his "Employee of the Month" photo burned).
If there is some reason that KB wants to have longer hair, I don't know what that would be.
She wants make the baby Hecubot cry? Nah, I got nothing.

Great, now I'm seeing all of VM with Harmony in the lead. shudder
Tracey Walter will always be Miller from REPO MAN to me: "John Wayne was a fag." "Plate o' shrimp."
And was Cliff played by the guy who was Joe Isuzu, or does he just look and sound a lot like him (he does look too young, but thought I'd ask).
"The more you drive, the less intelligent you are."
Cliff is played by Daran Norris.

Well, he has a great voice!
And I noticed the Rob alias too. At first I thought it was a hilarious coincidence, but then I remembered that, unless I'm mistaken, he and Rob were childhood friends. They lost touch for a while but ran into each other again at just the right time.
Holy shit, he was in Hobgoblins !!

OK, that's both funny and cool.

And he did the voice of Gollum in some version of the HOBBIT from 2003.
I regret to inform you that evidently Mallard Fillmore, the never-funny right wing duck of the comic strips, is supposedly a big fan of the show. Sortof a "Hitler was a vegetarian?" kind of news.

Yeah, I almost did a spit take when I read that on Monday (I read every single strip in the Globe daily, even the ones that make me want to beat the cartoonist with a rolled up newspaper until they bleed from the eyes).
