What is even happening?

You'll either have a cow on your head or an ex will return married or there will be evil eggs.
OMG I hadn't even thought of that! Good call.

You're not going to start taking your erm...breaks in alleyways, are you?

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday Billytea!

Is it on the 12th? Or is it the 13th in Australia?

(Timezones are freaky.)

move out and draw fire

You'll either have a cow on your head or an ex will return married or there will be evil eggs.

Or all three.

I lasted exactly one month in fast food. And I smelled awful that entire month.

OK, no one needs to pick that comment up and run with it.

The DH lasted longer in his food service job, despite the manager running a side business in crack from the office.

Maybe "18" is why "9/9/99" is significant. I mean, yes, to an Orthodox Jew the year wasn't 1999, but to an Orthodox Jew living in America it would be to some extent, and 9+9=18, 9+9=18, so life, twice.

Our wings are not tired.

Signed, She Whose Mother Likes Giving Hannukah Gift Certificates In Multiples Of 18.

Woo! I've learned something new. Can I call it a day and go home now?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oops, forgot to post about that over the weekend. Brokeback Mountain knocked the favorite, a McCarthy-era period film by George Clooney, out of the running.

I never did paid work in food services, but I did end up volunteering to bus Kiwanis pancake breakfasts to fulfill requirements for a club I was in during college. 1500 customers in three hours. t shudder

I've never been able to stomach syrup on pancakes since.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I spent a few summers working in fast food during the college years. Usually manageable because, if things got too bad, I knew I'd be leaving soon to go back to school.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I started my work life in a buffet restaurant, and quickly moved over to a diner. Oy. So much grease.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I highly recomment coffee shops for food service jobs -- they're by far the cleanest, and you get free coffee.
