ita, can you fit me in your suitcase? I'll risk the typhoid and the malaria to go!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My camera bag is packed. So that's ... yeah.

I'll be back.

Kat, right now, the suitcase is empty. This is your best shot.

Sara, I don't start the malaria meds until tomorrow. Maybe I'll get psychotic on the plane.

Right. Packing.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

ita! You're off to Kenya, right? Have fun!

I always leave packing till the very last minute. I like my stuff to be where it's supposed to be until it's time for it to be somewhere else, you know?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Try not to get psychotic on the plane, ita. Or if you do, try extra hard to keep it to yourself. Just a thought.

sara, I do understand. Maybe you can send me something about what you do/want to do, and I can look at classifieds while I procrastinate.

Ooh, fun!

Actually, I didn't get bit by a single damned thing in Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe or South Africa. And I'm sure I sweated the bug spray off. A few months earlier, but still. It's more than I can say here.

God, ita, you sound like me with the pretrip preps. I wish it on no one. May you achieve zen. Or something.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Happy trails, ita! May you have many fun adventures and wonderful stories to tell us!

Careful what you offer. I've been joking to former officemate he should send me leads he isn't as interested in. And I'm only halfjoking (and he knows it.)

No, I'm serious. There's no better procrastination than something that's actually useful for someone else.
