I read a bit on the weekend (TV Guide, maybe) about ER having a contingency plan if Goran Visnjic gets the role of Bond.

ummm, no. I mean, he'd look good in the role, but no. He'd be like the new Timothy Dalton.

To me, James Bond has a certain elegance that I don't think that GV can pull off. Granted, I've only seen him in ER, so I could be wrong. Dalton didn't have the elegance, he was more of a "brute". hmm, that's not quite the right word, but I cna't think of it now.

Out of the gate I see Visnjic as more elegant than Connery. I'd love to see someone bring a little sinister to the role -- and from his non-ER stuff, I think he can pull that off.
