A quote from a CNN.com article about the Bush, Sr's and the Clintons' visit to the Reliant Center yesterday:
Clinton toured the shelter with his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.
Obama, picked up a little girl who brought him a small heart she had made in a makeshift daycare center at the shelter.
"What's your name, sweetie? You look so pretty," Obama said to the girl. "You made this heart and you decided to give it to Bill Clinton, didn't you?"
The little girl, named Kearra, shook her head affirmatively.
"Well, I give you my heart," Clinton said, giving the tiny toddler a hug.
"You're beautiful. Thank you for the heart."
OBAMA+BIGDOG 4 EVA!!!!!
How so? Not that I think he's right, but I don't think he's Daltonesque.
To me, James Bond has a certain elegance that I don't think that GV can pull off. Granted, I've only seen him in ER, so I could be wrong. Dalton didn't have the elegance, he was more of a "brute". hmm, that's not quite the right word, but I cna't think of it now.
OBAMA+BIGDOG 4EVA!!!!
talk about OTP!
if Goran Visnjic gets the role of Bond.
falls into blissed-out reverie
On the other hand... it'd be a little weird, what with the non-UK-accentness. Then again, what the hell. He'd certainly (to my mind) make the outrageous falling-into-bed-on-a-moment's-notice reactions comprehensible again. I think Brosnan's attractive, but I wouldn't trip over myself getting him into bed.
Out of the gate I see Visnjic as more elegant than Connery. I'd love to see someone bring a little sinister to the role -- and from his non-ER stuff, I think he can pull that off.

!!!!
I think you are slightly too young for Remington Steele and ABC News (RIP Peter Jennings) to have been your formative first crushes. Well, and Mick Jagger.
Goran reminds me of the Serbian guy we had working at my old office. Six feet tall, jet black hair, goatee, dark eyes, accent. Mmmm....
wearing shorter wigs and using less make-up.
Well, if you want to get more macho, you can't argue with those steps.
This is what I'm saying, brenda. I must be much more macho than I realized -- I almost never wear any makeup at all!
