Out of the gate I see Visnjic as more elegant than Connery. I'd love to see someone bring a little sinister to the role -- and from his non-ER stuff, I think he can pull that off.

You say the sweetest things. Don't get me wrong. He could talk me into bed without much trouble at all, but Visjnic wouldn't even have to open his mouth. It may have to do with the elegance thing, actually -- the phrase "exudes sensuality" doesn't really apply to Brosnan in my mind.
Just to clarify, however, that's not me saying he's not hot like the lavaesque inside of a fried plantain (or is that just me?) -- Alan Rickman, similarly, requires the voice for full hotness, and I consider him one of the hotter things out there.
