Yay for no pain!

I went to the gym tonight. And then I cancelled it out by eating two lemon bars for dinner. Ah, well.

ETA: and there you have the broadest spectrum of weight issues, in a nutshell.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Huh. I thought the Haagen Daz Mango was a sorbet. Oh well.

Consuela, you should think of it as cancelling the lemon bars with the gym.

Perkins, pain-free is better than poor-free. I'm glad it seems like it went OK.

Suela, no! You cancelled out the lemon bars by the gym, and the gym works for you for more than just calories, so you're better off this way, too. [Edit: x-post with Perkins, of course]

ita, why gain weight?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Abbrev. x-post from lj because I am just a little desperate.

My back is killing me. The doctor's appt is tomorrow. And, hey, health insurance cause I spent all day on the phone. But that is another rant.

So tomorrow when I go and see the nice man, I want to have at least a general list of muscle relaxants worth actually taking. I don't know the genre and he's not always forthcoming with the highest and mightiest loot.

I'm not looking for lalala happy, just being able to get through the day. Actually stopping the cycle of pain --> spasm --> more pain --> tingles --> spasm is kind of the thing I am hoping for.

Who has had good results with what?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

ita, I strongly recommend a strict tiramisu, buttercream, and ganache diet.

Chai buttercream = really fuckin' good.

Chai buttercream + CI gingerbread = GAH MORE MORE.

I found a recipe for Earl Grey ganache.

When I am recovered from the cupcake and buttercream orgy of the last two weeks, I shall have to try it.

Just not sure what *on*.

Cass, I'm sorry, I have no useful information for you. But I do hope it gets solved soon. Pain-freedom ~ma for you. Gently, though, so that not to hurt your back even worse.

I have a plan.

Sorry, I was out with the local poker league playing some... well poker.

What homework, Thommmmash?

I've got to read some lesson plans and come up with some questions about writing them. Then there are teaching standards, I have to write a paper on the differences between Arizona State, INTASC, and NBPTS.

Actually, Cass' LJ hates me. I tried to comment twice, but it won't show up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

PMM, my main ingredients were going to be ice cream and cheesecake, but I see no reason to not add your suggestions.

Nilly, I've dropped 6 pounds in about the last month, and I was trying to gain weight (though idly wishing is more accurate) even before that. I want my weight back. It can't all have been fat, and I was using the fat I had anyway.

Off to bed. I need to run in the morning. Which is probably the culprit, but dammit, krav doesn't make me lose weight. And I need the cardio improvement.
