Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Well, turns out I lost some credit cards and my student ID. Cancelling the cards was pretty easy, but now I have the nagging "Was there anything else in there? Discover, Mastercard, the other one's at home, student ID -- anything else? Dammit."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cass, I'm sure someone's suggested flexoril -- it's my "Oh, fuck, who needs to be conscious anyway?" painkiller of choice, and a muscle relaxant to boot.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I found a recipe for Earl Grey ganache.
Mmmm, bergamont... My orange bergamont mint just started to bolt. I just think of it as making lots and lots of little plants for me to enjoy next year. Or a couple months? It always seems to be growing. Mint is like nice-smelling kudzu.

Thanks. My appt is at 3 tomorrow so I will be around at work, and therefore b.org, until 2. I just am apparently clueless when it comes to the muscle relaxants and what works. Therefore, taking of the suggestions.

Actually, Cass' LJ hates me. I tried to comment twice, but it won't show up.
I finally post something completely public and it hates people nonetheless. I'll go see if I can tinker. I think y'all are friended anyway.

On edit, huh. Now there are comments when I went in to edit. I pulled it up right before and there was nothing. Weird.

So on the list now. A little lapse of consciousness that takes away the pain and spasms sounds nice.

I have no suggestions, Cass, but good luck!

I have a plan.

Crappy Em. I hope you have everything covered and didn't forget anything.

Cass, my lower back spasms have always responded well to Robaxin. It can make you sleepy, but I've been able to function when taking it.

Emily, that sucks like a sucking thing. I hope you're able to replace everything with a minimum of fuss. Just to be safe, you may want to put a fraud alert on your credit report. That will also entitle you to a free copy, so you can see if there's been any unexplained activity.

I've got to read some lesson plans and come up with some questions about writing them. Then there are teaching standards, I have to write a paper on the differences between Arizona State, INTASC, and NBPTS.

Are you joining the mass education migration? Also, the whahuh?

Swouncing

the differences between Arizona State, INTASC, and NBPTS.

Well, the first is not an initial, the middle is an initial you can pronounce as a word, and the third can only be pronounced by the names of the letters combining it.

Night, ita!

Maria! First, good to post with you! How are you doing? Did all the work mess sort itself out?

Also, thanks!

Emily, I hope you got everything covered, and that the rest of the fuss will be minimal.
