Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

What is even happening?

Just out of curiosity, I'm going to copy & paste the text into a new post in natter, and see what happens.

What is even happening?

When I posted it, I can still only see:

Suddenly I want to go as an for Halloween. But I won't.

What is even happening?

Whatever it is, it seems specific to that link. Or maybe to that link in Natter.

I'm going to copy and paste the whole thing here, to see what happens.

Suddenly I want to go as an iPod ad for Halloween. But I won't.

It's not specific to Natter. I'm still seeing only:

Suddenly I want to go as an for Halloween. But I won't.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you have another browser at home you could try it on? Also, can you save the HTML of your screen and e-mail it to my profile address as an attachment?

I don't have another browser on this machine.

The HTML of my screen? Do I get that by right clicking and selecting "view source"?

I'm not sure I've worked out how to send an attachment with gmail, yet, so it might be coming from my netscape address--camb1b.

Yup.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So, Internet Explorer is now erasing links to Apple's web site?

Cindy, are you using a firewall or some kind of proxy (like WebWasher) on your machine?

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I'm also on IE6, by the way, and had no problem seeing the link.

Scott has a firewall installed, something he gets from work. I took the URL from ita's post upstream and put it in a new browser window, so I could see the page. It brought up a blank page. I am used to links not working, but have never seen them not show up, before. I can't even see the words "iPod ad" ita used as the text of her link.

I looked at the HTML, and Cindy's not crazy. Well, not over this, anyway. The entire link is missing. Code looks like this:
