I take it that this post contains a link,and that the full text reads:

For me, it's showing up with no link, and only the following text:

Suddenly I want to go as an for Halloween. But I won't.

I seem to be seeing other links (of both the "[link]" and regular old fashioned a href variety), so I don't know what the problem is. I'm running Windows XP Professional, and IE v. 6.

Here's the text of the post:

Suddenly I want to go as an <a href="http://images.apple.com/ca/fr/quicktime/images/ipod_ad.gif">iPod ad</a> for Halloween. But I won't.

It's perfectly compliant. I can't see any board-related reason it wouldn't show for you. Is anyone else having this problem?

Just out of curiosity, I'm going to copy & paste the text into a new post in natter, and see what happens.

When I posted it, I can still only see:

Whatever it is, it seems specific to that link. Or maybe to that link in Natter.

Do you have another browser at home you could try it on? Also, can you save the HTML of your screen and e-mail it to my profile address as an attachment?

The HTML of my screen? Do I get that by right clicking and selecting "view source"?

I'm not sure I've worked out how to send an attachment with gmail, yet, so it might be coming from my netscape address--camb1b.

Cindy, are you using a firewall or some kind of proxy (like WebWasher) on your machine?
