You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Webmail's still down, but it is down in English now.

Hah, I was just going to mention that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now I can't get the phrase t cue cheesy German accent "Ve haff freed ourselves from ze Bedouin yoke." out of my head. Lord knows why that even needed an accent.

It's a whole WW2 mishmash in my head. Of course, now I'm going to obsess on how you transliterate the cheesy German "the."

Oy. I should have breakfast.

You can't go wrong with "das" in cheesy German transliteration, even though Bedouins would probably be more than a little upset at being neutered.

move out and draw fire

Ve haff freed ourselfs from der Bedovin yoke.

Though, I like it in French better, for that whole Beau Geste thing.

Anyway - YAY for the board being back! Since I'm probably the only on who was trying to get on between midnight and 4am board time, a good time for Plesk-cleaning. But I was disconcerted.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I was trying to get on, too. It was disconcerting.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I made a concerted effort, but I was dissed.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?
