the maintain links page (which seems to be working fine now)
For the record, I haven't changed this at all -- but I did find a lurking foreach
in the links.php.
Finding the evil foreaches is hard, since some of the formulations (70%?) work, so it's both searching and eyeballing to track the puppies down.
It is a recent problem. I will try again later, after a restart. I was just having trouble reading the Jack Bauer whitefont in Natter this morning
I'm inclined to cast a wary eye of suspicion on Firefox in general. Since I installed it on my laptop, both that program and AOL OS X have been very freeze-up prone. I've had to do more force quits since Friday than I normally have to do in a month.
Sophia, every so often Firefox/Mozilla on OS X will just go wonky on me, requiring that I restart Firefox/Mozilla. I've had your specific problem several times.
Oh, I was wondering if this was just me! Yeah, every now and then all of the text fields will just stop responding. Restarting Firefox fixes it.
I restarted the web server. Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes.
Was there a problem [eta: I see there was]? The Plesk vendor was working on the system, since the upgrades have frelled stuff behind the scenes.
The board was down earlier this morning (at least between 2-4am or so board time).
Everything seemed to be fine, except the web server wasn't running. No problems with Plesk. I don't know if they fixed the problem and just didn't restart the server, or if there's still a problem I don't know about.
BTW, I don't have command-line root access any more.

They temporarily changed the password to let SWSoft in to poke around. Stuff was well and truly jacked up back there, yet somehow we were (mostly) running.
I've instructed them to add you to the ongoing fixit convo, Tom, since I will be out of pocket from this evening. As things stand, it looks like the Plesk upgrade is still partial. Webmail's still down, but it is down in English now.
