So there's another issue. It doesn't appear to allow a negative (southern) latitude to be recorded. It does recognize the sign on longitude, but not latitude. It's probably on our end, that our processing of the data is dropping the leading sign, but it could be the API.
Also, for future reference, it appears that Google maps will not let you put a pin in a stretch of open ocean. I'm guessing that it can only put a pin in a spot if there is actual land there.
What are you setting your location to? I just changed my location to "-33.873651 151.2068896", and it's working fine.
Same as coordinates as you, but it turns out I stupidly didn't zoom in enough, so the pin was hidden directly behind John's. Sorry for the bother. Still doesn't explain why John was having an issue with lat, long, but maybe it was a formatting issue (SE instead of -+?).
I can't get the simple drag and increase options to work, but that may be the fact that I have an ancient (by any standard) iMac. Professional grade, with extra memory, but still, probably not the best internet options. Need to upgrade this year, massively (after the washer and dryer though - sick of laundromats).
I can't. ETA: Chome on Mac. (Whatever the new OS is...Jellystone.)
Nope. Let me try on my phone too.
eta: Nope. Can't log out there either.
Note that I went to a browser where I wasn't logged in and was able to log in and log out.
eta: Internet Explorer for the browser that worked.
I can't log out on Chrome or Safari.
I can't log out on Firefox, but I can on Internet Explorer.
