I was looking through the "one click installs" that Dream host provides for free with the account, and there are a few out of the box things that wouldn't be integrated with our code or security that they offer like:
- IM
- Wiki
- Photo gallery
- Wordpress
- Calendaring
Don't know if there's anything there anyone wants to experiment with. I've played with one of the photo galleries (Piwigo) and it's pretty decent. You can set up pubic and password protected galleries of pictures, for instance.
