Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Email me, I'll hit reply, if that's not enough it's clearly time for you to eat worms. Mud? I don't remember. Something down there.

Amy has discovered a difference between MySQL 4.x and 5.x--it's vomiting on a left join. Fun times. Why didn't it occur to me that SQL was going to change? Become less tolerant of what I can only imagine was my laziness?

Right. Off to look up things.

It's also barfing up a number of complaints about non-static methods being called statically, but that's a STRICT error, so it's not critical path.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At the velvet or admins?

Edit: I'll do both!

Okay, I've stopped the error message. The bit where the query is wrong and your message centre looks like poo poo? I'm working on it.

Because books.

Oh, gotcha. I already posted more about it in thread over there, though.

Well, it's too late, I fixed that too. so there.

I tried to post wrong code (left off the second quote marks in a link), and it rejected the post entirely -- like, just went back to the thread like it never happened. Not sure if that's a bug or a feature.

Editing my css didn't work -- was it supposed to?

It is supposed to. But you're going to have to be more explicit about "didn't work." What did you expect to happen, and what happened instead? Did you enter CSS that had no effect? Did you enter CSS that was not saved? Could you not get to the CSS page?

Here's my stab at listing the board use cases, FTR: [link]

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Looks pretty good.

First glance at the code doesn't look like a bunch will need to be cleaned up for other boards. I mean, other than the fact that everything's referencing giles.php, heh! But anyway, you weren't kidding about your going overboard on the quotes engine, which, obviously is chock full of show specific references.

I'll do some line by line tomorrow, hopefully.

This one. I copied it from my profile here, which now that I think about it, I'm not sure if that works, either!
