You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Huh. I thought this wasn't supposed to happen anymore (i.e., posts past 10,000):

move out and draw fire

I checked the "To-Do" list and didn't see this, but I could swear it's been mentioned before.

When I put line break tags in a post, and then go back and edit it, there's a close bold tag before every line break tag. If I delete the close bold tags and post the message again, then edit it again, they are back.

Not a P1 by any means, just wondering if you guys were aware of this and knew either what I'm doing wrong (with putting the tags in, let's not get started on my whole life) or what I need to do to have cleaner markup.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think it's a side-effect of the thing that auto-closes open tags.

Swouncing

If we're already nitpicking about tidying up things?

It's not any sort of urgent, but I just thought I'd mention it: on the "Threadsuck" page, the list of threads from which something to be threadsucked can be chosen includes all the threads that ever existed on b.org, starting from the first threads in everything, even Natter and Bitches. So the list is quite long, and the archived threads can't be threadsucked anyway. When attempting to threadsuck one of them, it ends up in a blank page with only the name of the thread, its description and a link back to b.org.

So, something to put at the bottom of the "To Do" list, I guess.

The real reason I poked my head in here is to thank the people who work hard. I always use my "Message Center", so I had no idea something was going on, had it not been for the posts here. And I guess I want to thank you for that, as well (um, for cleaning up one thing without messing anything else around, that is).

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Behold the folder icons. Iffn you want them bigger (or any other changes), it'll have to wait until this evening.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Would anyone be willing/able to walk me through the ballot-making/voting set-up procedure? I'd like the F2F ciy vote to function like the VM vote, rather than like the date vote did, but I don't know how to do that.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Although this part seems to be over, I am chiming in to say that I too think the front page read header should say "Folders" instread of "Subfolders", like Perkins, Kat, et als. It makes me think I am missing some sort of bigger folder that doesn't exist.

However, I think this may be a pedantic semantic coder vs. non-coder communication failure.

The VM vote, like every "official" Buffista vote, must currently be "manually" created by me. Well, it doesn't have to be me, but it's got to be someone with access to the site's file who has some basic PHP skills.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ah, I see. Well, then, I'll stick with Mr. Poll, as he treats me fine, and I know how to make him work

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Uh, can the subfolders go under the "discussion threads" bar? I am enjoying watching the evolution of the front page, and think the folder icons are adorable.
