hip deep in pie

The Email in Firefox probably has to do with the latest version of Firefox, because it doesn't happen on my work computer, where I am using Firefox 2.0.0.18, but it does happen on my new home computer where I just downloaded the most recent version of Firefox.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Email in Firefox thing could be fixed by rearranging the input boxes in the "Set profile" page, or by putting the change password functionality on a separate page.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

It seems to be the same in Chrome. I have Chrome set to save passwords, which also saves the username. On my "set profile" page, the field for "Your new email address:" gets auto-filled with my username, and if I click the OK button on the page (the last occasion was when I changed my tag), my e-mail address gets overwritten.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, I changed the order. All you people with weirdo browsers tell me if it's still wonking for you, or what.

Looks good!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

That worked for the e-mail, but now my username is overwriting my location.

Hmmm...it seems to have killed the Buffista map entirely -- not working in IE 7.0.6001.18000, Firefox 3.0.4, or Chrome 0.3.154.9

It didn't kill the map--I have no idea what did, since that code hasn't been changed since it was finalised months ago.

Dammit.

And I have no idea why it's overriding your location. I've always hated the form fill-in, and this is just making it worse.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The map is dead for me on IE as well.

Regarding the form fill-in, it can be disabled by adding autocomplete="off" to the form tag. [link]

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I was looking for a particular post in the closed Supernatural 1 thread, and couldn't find SPN 1 in Closed Threads, or the Film and TV Closed Threads. I had a bookmark in that thread and was able to locate the post I wanted, but now I'm wondering why it's not listed among the closed threads. Or, if it is listed, why am I not seeing it there?
